Rohloff E-14:
•
Open the plug connecti on behind the E14
box by pulling both plugs apart.
•
Observe the warnings below!
•
If necessary, disconnect any cable ti es that
fi x the E14 cable to the connectors.
Danger of plug failure due to incorrect operati on!
-> Disconnect the plug connecti on only by pulling the plug. Do not pull on
the cable!
-> Pull the two connectors apart in a straight line without twisti ng or kin-
king.
•
Open the quick-release.
•
Pull the rear wheel downwards out of
the frame
•
Remove the belt from the rear pulley
without twisti ng.
•
Push the transport lock between the
brake pads.
6.6.3. Changing the tyre/tube
•
Unscrew the valve cap and large knurled nut from the valve.
•
Completely release the air by applying pressure to the valve pin in the centre of
the valve.
•
Use tyre levers to loosen the tyre on one side
of the rim. If necessary, use detergent and
water to lift the tyre off more easily.
•
Remove the tyre and tube and implement the
desired change.
•
Lightly infl ate the tube (approx. diameter of
2 cm) and insert it into the tyre.
•
Insert the valve through the valve hole in the
rim and pull the tyre and tube combinati on
from one side onto the rim.
•
Observe the running directi on of the tyre imprinted by the manufacturer.
•
Then lever the other side of the tyre onto the rim using tyre levers.
•
Turn the knurled nut onto the valve unti l it reaches the rim.
