Check the bearing clearance of the headset, hubs, pedals
•
Check that the crank is fi rmly in place
•
Check the wheels for concentricity and spoke tension
•
Have the suspension fork serviced
•
Check the ti ghtening torques of the grips, brake levers, saddle, seatpost, stem,
handlebar
•
Check the wear conditi on of the brake disc
•
Check the wear conditi on of the belt
If the Rohloff hub is installed, it should receive an oil change every 5000 km.
6.3.
Aft er an accident
If parts of the drive system (cable, motor, batt ery) are visibly damaged due
to an accident, there is a risk of electric shock.
-> In this case, remove the batt ery immediately. Have the drive system
checked by HNF-NICOLAI Service or a specialist retailer.
Parts of your vehicle may be damaged due to an accident, which can cause
a risk of breakage.
-> In case of an accident, contact HNF-NICOLAI Service or a specialist retailer
to have damaged parts such as the frame, fork, handlebar, stem, seatpost,
pedal cranks and pedals checked and replaced if necessary.
6.4.
Batt ery
During use, it is the performance requirements that primarily determine the service
life of the batt ery.
Frequent use of high levels of assistance reduces the service life of the batt ery.
During storage/non-use, the following factors are relevant for service life:
•
Storage temperature. Opti mal: 0-20 °C.
Temperatures above 30 °C or parking the bike with the batt ery in direct sunlight
reduce the service life of the batt ery.
•
Charge level. Opti mal charge level: 40-60% (=2-3 LEDs)
Storing the batt ery fully charged or fl at reduces the service life.
