Operating the steel side rail
Up: Lift and pull the top steel bar of
the side rail towards the end
with the locking mechanism.
Ensure it is locked in place.
Down: Press the release button and pus
the top bar of the steel side rail
away from the locking mechanism.
There is risk of entrapment of fingers on assembly and operation of the side
rails. Please ensure that the side rail locking system has engaged properly by
pulling / pushing the upper bar.
Adjusting the height of the lifting pole
Loosen the cord as shown in fig. A. The lifting handle can now be adjusted to the desired
height. Press the cord together as shown in fig. B and check that the cord is locked in the
cord lock by pulling the handle in fig. C.

Position the lifting pole in such a way that the handle is above the bed.
If the lifting pole is used while the handle has been turned away from the
bed - the bed can tip when the handle is used.
