Fitting the RH Side Broom Secondary Drive Belt
Proceed as follows to fit a new RH side broom secondary drive belt:

Pull the primary drive belt 3, fig. 5 out of the pulleys 1, 2, and 5 and remove it.

Remove bolt 7 and loosen bolt 8 securing the gear unit support bracket 9 to the arm 6 supporting the side broom 13.

Pivot the gear unit support bracket 9 outwards.

Fit the new secondary drive belt 4 over drive pulley 5 and pass it along broom support arm 6.

Insert a hook 10 through the access slot 11 in the end of the broom support arm 6 and hook it around the new belt 4.

Pull the belt over idle pulley 12.
7
Pivot the gear unit support bracket 9 back to its original position and secure it with bolts 7 and 8.
8
Refit the primary drive belt 3.
Caution !
Take the opportunity to check the condition of the primary drive belt 3, fig. 5 and replace if worn.
