Using the Rider sweeper

1
Avoid picking up pieces of string, wire, and bands etc. longer than 11-5/8" (30 cm). If such materials do get caught in the brooms, stop the rider sweeper
immediately and remove them.
2
When negotiating surfaces which are wet with rain or puddles, move lever 1 (fig. 1) to position C to shut off the suction.
3
Operate the filter shaker motor every 10-15 minutes during work. Take the opportunity to clean the filter when transferring the rider sweeper from one
point to another. To clean the filter, simply hold lever 1 (fig. 1) fully back in position V 3 or 4 times for 3 to 5 seconds at a time depending on the amount
of dust swept up.
4
To pick up large but light objects (such as paper, leaves, etc.), push down pedal 9, (fig. 2) to lift the front flap just for the time necessary for the objects
to pass underneath.
