Basic functions

• This robot vacuum cleaner vacuums up loose dirt through the nozzle. For more effi -
cient cleaning, it has a roller brush (on the bottom) and side brushes to clean walls and
furniture.
• The appliance cleans the fl oor using fi ve cleaning patterns that repeat automatically so
that the entire fl oor is cleaned effi ciently: under and around furniture, as well as along
the walls.
• Thanks to its front and side sensors, the appliance can recognize a wall or other obsta-
cles and change its direction of travel.
• The photo sensor on the bottom of the appliance recognises steps or other depressions
so that the appliance cannot fall.
• The additionally activatable UV lamp eliminates dust mites and bacteria on the surface.
• Aft the end of the cleaning duration or when the battery is almost empty, the appliance
automatically starts to search for the charging station. If it does not fi nd it within 30
minutes, it switches off so that the battery is not completely discharged.
• Through the window on the top of the appliance, you can see whether the dust con-
tainer is full and empty it if necessary. In addition, the window is a storage compartment
for the remote control.
• The appliance can be carried comfortably using the installed grip.

Before initial use

Before you can use the appliance, you must:
• Unpack the items supplied.
• Remove the transportation lock pieces and the protection foil.
• Insert the battery.
• Charge the battery completely.

Unpacking the items supplied

CAUTION!
❐ Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a danger of suf-
focation!
• Unpack all parts and check the scope of supply for completeness (see the "What is
supplied" section); also check for transport damage. If you fi nd any damage to the
components, do not use them (!), but contact our customer service (see the "Customer
service" section).

Removing the transportation lock pieces and the protection foil

• Remove the two transportation lock pieces on the bottom of the appliance. They are
located between the bumper and the main unit.
• Remove the protection foil from the display.
