Carefully push down the mechanical seal into ist seat.
Avoid damaging the mechanical seal through tilting.
Screw the 4 lid screws them into the belonging threads and tighten with the
required torque (fig. 26).
Mount the protection cap of the coupling (fig. 27).
Rewire power leads to motor terminals.
7.4 Motor
The motor bearing does not require any maintenance. Increasing bearing noise and
undue vibrations indicate a worn bearing. The bearing or the complete motor then
needs replacing.
Exchange of the motor
Switch off power supply and secure against unauthorized switching.
Close isolating valves at both pump ports.
Lower the pressure of the pump by opening the air vent plugs
Disconnect wires from motor terminals.
Remove the protection cap of the coupling (see chapter 7.3.1, Bilder 6...13).
Unmount the mechanical seal (see chapter 7.3.1).
Unscrew the motor fixing-screws at the motorflange (fig. 28, pos. 1) and lift the motor
off the pumphousing by means of suitable lifting gear.
Assemble the new motor by means of suitable lifting gear and tighten the screws with
the required torque.
Controll the fitting surface of the coupling and the shaft, clean and oil them, if
necessary.
Mount the mechanical seal (see chapter 7.3.2, Bilder 18...26).
Remount protection cap of the coupling.
Rewire power leads to motor terminals.

In the event of hot liquids, Beware of scalding!
Before unmounting the motor make sure that the center of gravity is not
above the lifting points.
Secure the motor against overturning while it is lifted.
