Commissioning

4.1

Switch appliance on

. Place a pan or pot on top of the glass ceramic cooking surface/glass ceramic bowl.
. Turn the rotary switch to the desired power setting.
● Setting and temperature range 1 -8: 1 = low power, 8 = high power.
Control lamp display when the cooking zone is switched on:
Glows
Flashes
Flashes intermittently
. After removing the pot or pan, turn the rotary switch to "0".

Air filter
(1 or 2 air filters are

CAUTION! Hot surfaces, hot objects!
Risk of burning!
. Wear protective gloves!
. Use pot holders!
. Exercise appropriate caution!
When cookware has been placed on top.
If no cookware is placed on the top or the pot/pan is too small and not
detected.
In the event of a malfunction. For instructions, refer to page 31 Chap
ter 7.1
. Before using the appliance for the first time,
clean with a cleaning product that dissolves
grease.
● Cleaning, refer to page 28, Chapter 6.
. Insert air filter in guide rails.
● CAUTION! The appliance must not be oper
ated without an air filter, otherwise contamina
tion dirt will accumulate on the induction gen
erators. This results in
‒ malfunctions,
‒ power reduction,
‒ induction generators being switched off.
