Pour the steamed milk directly onto the espresso.

Hold a cup of tap water underneath the steam nozzle, submerge the nozzle in the

water and actuate the steam button once more. Let some steam escape to remove
the milk residues from the steam / hot water wand. Press the steam button again
to stop the steam function.
Wipe the steam / hot water wand clean with a moist towel.

Swivel the steam / hot water wand back to the original position above the drip
●
tray.

CAUTION: Splashes of hot water could scald you when the steam function starts!
To prevent this, submerge the steam nozzle in the milk resp. water (when rinsing)
before pushing the steam button.
The steam nozzle can reach high temperatures, therefore never touch the wand
resp. the nozzle and the hot surfaces with your bare hand and only touch the rubber
handle. Make sure that no body parts can come into contact with the hot steam.
Danger of scalding!
The steam function only starts if the steam / hot water wand has been swivelled all
the way out.
Tip: You can warm other drinks the same way.

You can let hot water flow out of the steam / hot water wand with the hot water
function, e.g. for making tea.
Please proceed as follows:
Fill the water tank with fresh water, up to a maximum of 1 cm under the edge

of the tank.
Press the ON/OFF button (1) to switch the appliance on.

The white button surround of the ON/OFF button lights up along with the yellow
●
temperature lamp. As long as it is lit up, the machine is in the heating up phase.
Once the machine is ready for use, the temperature lamp goes out. You can now
use the hot water function.
Swivel the steam / hot water wand all the way out.

Place a container under the steam / hot water wand.
●
Press the coffee extraction button (4), the hot water flows out of the wand.
●
Once the desired amount of water has been dispensed, push the coffee extraction
●
button (4) to stop the hot water function.
Swivel the steam / hot water wand back to the original position.
●
CAUTION: Splashes of hot water could scald you when the hot water function
starts! To prevent this, point the steam wand into the prepared container before
pressing the coffee extraction button.
