Selecting the operating mode
Depending on the type of application, the device is switched to one of three possible operating
modes. The following are available:
1. Quantity operating mode: After a start pulse the product quantity that has been set is dosed.
This is used where defined dose quantities are required.
2. Operating mode: internal timing control: After a start pulse the dosing runs for the time that
has been set. For compliance with pressure-time dosing applications.
3. Operating mode: external timing control "start/stop": The dosing process continues for the
duration of the start pulse. Used in connection with dosing robots or customer handling
systems.
In all three operating modes the dosing rate and possibly the quantity and flow rate for the
return suction must be set.
In the quantity operating mode, setting the time has no effect.
In the two time-controlled operating modes, a quantity setting has no effect.
The operating modes are selected in the
extended settings menu.
