First Set-up

Unpack the device, check that all of the enclosed parts are intact and complete and place on a
level surface.
At the location where the device is to be used it can also be fixed in place by means of two M4
threaded bushes (spaced 170 mm apart) pressed centrally into the bottom plate.
Other components of the system (all optional, with the exception of the volumetric pump)
Volumetric pump (PUMP)
Foot switch
Product tank
Rotor spray
to be unpacked, assembled in accordance with the enclosed operating instructions and
connected with the cables supplied to the control unit.
A connection to a higher-level PLC control unit can be established with XS10.
Connect the compressed air supply to the control unit, (P IN) and route the regulated
air (P OUT) to the product tank.
Assemble the product line from the tank to the dosing pump in accordance with the operating
instructions. Particularly in the case of high-viscosity media, the line should be as short as
possible in order to minimize pressure losses and dead volumes.
Place the product container in the tank and close the lid of the tank. Please note the respective
operating instructions of the product tank used.
Connect the control unit to the power supply using the power cord supplied and switch on.
The display shows the factory default settings.
A product tank is connected and filled.
Now the required dosing pressure is set using
the pressure regulator on the front of the
device; in the case of low viscosities,
approximately 0.5 to 1 bar is sufficient.
Now the product line can be purged, as described in the compact rotor pump manual.
