Symbols for filling level and tank pressure
Depending on the viscosity of the medium, the eccentric rotor pump requires a certain primary
pressure so that it can be correctly filled and the specified volumetry is reached. In order to set
this preliminary pump pressure, a small pressure regulator is integrated into the front of the
RC15 control unit. The current value of the primary pressure is displayed at the bottom on the
left of the main screen. If the primary pressure is too low, the pump is not sufficiently filled,
resulting in bubbles and quantity deviations. To prevent this, the primary pressure is displayed
and monitored by the control unit.
The displayed pressure is stored as the target pressure by touching the pressure display field. As
soon as the currently measured pressure deviates by more than 10% from the preset target
pressure, a pressure fault is reported and the device is no longer able to perform its dosing
function. The pressure fault message disappears automatically when the primary pressure
returns to a value within the tolerance range or when the actual pressure is taken over as the
new target pressure.
Tank full - Tank almost empty - Tank empty

Tank vented, but (re-)filled.
After the lid has been securely screwed into
place: Touch the tank symbol to confirm that
pressure can be reapplied.
