1. Dedicated mode flash photography with the
Mecablitz 60 CT 2, 45 GT 5 and SCA system 500
Some camera models of diverse manufacture enable employ-
ment of various special flash functions. The series 500 SCA
adaptor can be used to adapt certain Mecablitz units for these
special camera functions. Information on the degree of adapta-
bility of the Mecablitz 60 CT 2 and Mecabtitz 45 CT 5 for a ber-
tain camera is provided in the instruction manual.
The SCA alaptors are offered as a special accessory for the
flash unit. Please study the operating instructions foi your ca-
mera so that you can properly understand the interplay between
flash unit and camera. Please note that the sequence 6f the fol-
lowing cameras does not represent any sort of evaluation.
1.1. AC power operation:
When.using the mains units N-20 or N-21 for AC power opera-
tion, the camera's system functions as well as the LED readout
of Mecablitz 45 CT 5 are cancelled. The cameras have to be
connected with the normal system cable. Automatic flash mode
and manual flash mode - including also operation with winders
or motor drive - are to be executed according to the operation
manual of the flash unit.
