6. Safety information

Read the operating instructions attentively and particularly observe the safety notes. If the safety
notes and the information in these operating instructions regarding proper handling are not
observed, we assume no liability for any resulting injury/property damage. In such cases, the war-
ranty/guarantee will also lapse.
a) General information
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the device is inadmissible because of safety and
approval reasons. Never dismantle the product.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children. Install and operate the product in a way that it is
out of reach of children.
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical facilities. The radio signals may cause functional impair-
ment in life-maintaining systems. The same may apply in other areas.
• Handle the product with care; impacts, shock or fall even from low heights will damage it.
• If you find any damage at the product, stop operating it and take it to a specialist workshop or dispose
of it environmentally compatibly.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the product is visibly damaged
- the product no longer functions
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions for an extended period of time
- it has been subjected to heavy stress during transport
• If the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. for transport), it is possible that condensation
will develop.
Therefore, first let the product reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply. This
may take several hours.
In case of moisture on the mains adapter, there is danger to life from electric shock!
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability Insurance
Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be observed.
• In schools, training centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the use of the product must be supervised
by responsible trained personnel.
• If there are any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions, contact our technical
support or another expert.
