5. Safety Information

The guarantee/warranty will expire if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
these operating instructions! We do not assume liability for any consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for property damage or personal injury resulting from improper
handling or non-observation of the safety information. The warranty/guarantee will expire in
such cases.
• The product must not be modified or converted. Otherwise, not only the CE approval, but also
the warranty/guarantee expires.
• The product must not be subjected to any extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, moisture,
intense vibration or heavy mechanical stress.
• After quick temperature changes, the product will require some time to stabilise and adjust to
the new ambience temperature before it can be used.
• This product is not a toy and not suitable for children.
• Never leave packaging material lying around unattended. Plastic film / bags, etc. may become
a dangerous toy for children. There is a danger of suffocation.
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, switch off the device and secure
it against inadvertent operation.
• Thunderstorms may pose a danger for any electrical device. Overvoltage in the mains line may
damage the device.
• No device with strong electric or magnetic fields should be close to the alarm system (e.g.
wireless phone, radio device, electrical motor, etc.). Direct heat sources may also impair func-
tion.
• The operating voltage is 12 to 16 V/DC.
• Never pour any liquids onto electrical devices.
• Never operate the product covered. Always ensure sufficient ventilation.
• Also observe the operating instructions of the products that are used with this alarm system.
• Repairs must only be performed by a qualified specialist or a specialist workshop.
• If you are not certain as to assembly, connection and installation or if you have any doubt
about the function of this alarm system, contact a specialist.
