Note!
Parameter set transfer between devices with different firmware versions
For devices with firmware versions 2.0 ... 6.3, the motor magnetising current is
ƒ
calculated internally within the controller. You cannot adapt it to your application.
For devices with firmware versions 7.0 ... 7.2, you can adapt the motor magnetising
ƒ
current to your application using the new code C0095.
Therefore the motor magnetising current in C0095 is not updated if a parameter set
transfer of devices with firmware versions 2.0 ... 6.3 to devices with firmware versions
7.0 ... 7.2 is carried out.
How to update the motor magnetising current after you have transferred the parameter sets

Confirming mode of operation
Via keypad
1. Change to the code level and select C0002 in the "Code list"
menu.
2. Change to the parameter level of C0002.
3. Select C0002 = 1 (Load PS1) and confirm the selection by

4. Change to the parameter level of C0006. The active
operating mode is displayed.
5. Confirm the setting by  + .
The correct motor magnetising current is calculated
automatically and is entered in C0095.
6. Change to the parameter level of C0003.
7. Select C0003 = 1 (Save PS1) and confirm the selection by
 + .
8. Repeat the steps 2. to 7. for each parameter set that you
have transferred.

Updating the motor magnetising current

calculated and entered in C0095.

Via Global Drive Control (GDC)
Open the "Code list" menu in the parameter menu.
Click on C0002 and select "Load PS1" from the dialog box.
Confirm by "Ok".
Click on C0006. In the dialog box the active operating mode
is highlighted.
Confirm the setting by "Ok". The correct motor
magnetising current is calculated automatically and is
entered in C0095.
If you press F7, the current value in C0095 is displayed.
Click on C0003 and select "Save PS1" from the dialog box.
Confirm by "Ok".
Repeat the steps 2. to 7. for each parameter set that you
have transferred.
