5. Batteries
1. Lean the side supports of the battery housings on the rails.
2. Push the battery cases forwards on the rails until they lock in place. Put the battery case with the connectors for
the electronics in first. Position it first so that the connecting lead for the electronics is on your right. This will make
it much easier to connect the batteries.
3. Now connect the two connecting plugs on the left side of the battery cases together.
4. Once you have made sure that the connections are secure, connect the front battery to the controls.
To remove the batteries, reverse the procedure. Disconnect the battery from the control and then disconnect the
batteries from each other. Push the battery cases upwards slightly until they disengage, and then pull them out
along the rails.
6. Wheels: If it is necessary to remove the wheels, to repair a damaged tyre for example, proceed as follows:
Front wheel:
1. Use a 7 mm. Allen wrench to remove the wheel axle from the fork.
2. Remove the damaged wheel.
3. When the wheel has been repaired, follow the reverse procedure to refit.
Rear wheel:
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the cover of the hub.
2. Loosen this screw with a 19 mm. hexagonal socket wrench.
3. Remove the damaged wheel. When it has been repaired, follow the reverse procedure.
NOTE: The rear wheels are designed as separate rims and can be disassembled to simplify changing the tube or
cover.
Seat belt : If the user requires a seat belt, it can be fitted by means of the belt eyelet and the screw
Note: This wheelchair is designed to be repaired and assembled by the dealer and not the end user. The user
may disassemble and reassemble it only for purposes of transport.
D. USE
1. Handling the wheelchair
Folding for transportation: Remove the batteries as described in Chapter C part 5, and ensure that the footplates
are flipped up or removed, as described in Chapter C part 1. Take hold of the seat upholstery by the middle and
pull it upward until the unit is fully folded. To lift the batteries please use the handles on the lid of the battery boxes.
To lift the chair when folded please use the upper parts of the side frame tubes and back handles.
Opening: Press downwards on the upper tubes of the cross frame until the chair is completely unfolded. Now put
the batteries in place. Note: Never lift the wheelchair by the armrests, since they are detachable and harm could be
done to the user or to the wheelchair.
Reclining back (0° - 30°) (Fig. 5):
The backrest can be adjusted in 7,5º increments by removing the two screws. To fix the required back angle, insert
the two bolts again and tighten with the nuts.
Caution: For safety reasons never remove the anti-tip wheels.
Caution: The reclining back is only to be used in combination with a stabilising bar. Please always make sure that
the stabilising bar is locked in place on both sides.

Caution: In order to avoid any reduction in the cable function, you must make sure that the cables are not completely
taut.
Caution: When adjusting the back angle, be careful not to get your fingers caught.
