4.3 Condensate
The measuring device should not be stored with moist waste gas if it has been cooled
to less than 10°C over a longer period of time (e.g. over night). It is recommenced, in
principle, to change the cotton after one day of measuring, if it has become moist.
Condensate collected in the heat exchanger should be removed several times each
day.
The water stop filter serves as an additional protection for the measuring cells. This
filter seals off automatically if it is penetrated by condensate or water. The penetration
can be recognized in the fact that the pump will almost come to a standstill. The water
stop filter will have to be changed under those conditions.
4.4 Separate pressure connector
At the rear face of the device (cfr. chapter 2, control element 5) we have an additional
pressure connector for adjusting the flow or jet pressure. The measuring range of the
pressure sensor covers from -100 to +4000 Pa with a resolution of 1 Pa
(<100 Pa or 0.1 hPa).
The pressure measuring will be carried out by the following steps:
1. The probe must be removed form the measuring opening
2. The zero setting of the pressure sensor must be effected (fig. 8-10)
3. The measuring hose will be connected to the pressure connector and to the burner
4. The display will allow for continuous reading of the pressure under PD
