3. Calibrating and measuring
3.2.3 The display: (Fig. 8)
On this display you can decide whether the next measuring procedure will involve
pressure measuring (PD-MEAS) or CO measuring (CO-MEAS) or the data will be
printed out to a printer via the IR-infra-red interface (fig. 8). You can also transmit the
actual measuring to the computer on store in the memory. „Dat->PC" or start the per-
manent datalogging „IR-Mntr" or return to the original state via the point „RETURN"
(first display, cfr. fig. 6, - B R E A K) (fig. 6)
Press once: switch. The cursor will jump to "CO-MEAS", "RETURN" or "PD-MEAS". If
the cursor is set to the menu desired, confirm by double-clicking and the menu point
will be called up.
If the "PD-MEAS" menu point is selected, the probe must be removed from the
measuring opening or the measuring hose must be pulled off (reset to zero, fig. 9). The
measuring hose (cfr. accessories) will be necessary, if adjusting work has to be carried
out at a burner via the 2nd pressure connector (cfr. under 4th separate pressure
connector).

After the key has been pressed, the chimney draught or the burner gas jet pressure
may be measured. If the pressure values are constant, you can terminate the
measuring by pressing the key; cfr. fig. 10
Afterwards we can determine whether the pressure measured is OK (PD = OK),
whether a new reset to zero (PD = 0) must be carried out or whether the pressure
should be measured again (PD-MEASURE.) (fig. 10).

If the pressure recorded is confirmed by double-clicking, the E 98 will switch to the
original state (display field 1, cfr. fig. 6 - B R E A K.)
