Mechanical Problems and Failure

Remedial Action and Explanation

Is the machine connected to the power supply and the ON/OFF
switch set to I?
+
Is the key switch turned to position II?
+
Is the foot pedal connected in the correct way?
+
Is the foot pedal locked? Release it by turning the release knob
on the foot pedal.
+
Press foot pedal and safety button (right or left) simultaneously.
+
Change Double Step Mode
see chapter 7.2.
Machine is not in final
position!
Adapter is not in final
position!
Ram of the adapter does
not engage correctly into
the ram of the machine!

Move adapter/tool head backwards (in set up mode, chapter
7.4.2);
+
Remove adapter/tool head;
+
Clean and lubricate the adapter/tool head in the profile area and
check for any damage.
Never mount damaged adapters/tool heads!
Is the adapter closed?

Move adapter backwards (see chapter 7.4.2) until it can be
+
removed.
Calibrate the display (see chapter 7.4.1)
