5.4) Inbetriebnahme der Maschine:
Die Maschine auf einer ebenen Fläche aufstellen und einen Freiraum von zumindest 3 Metern um
die Maschine herum einhalten, um ein sicheres Durchführung aller Manöver zu gewährleisten.
Sicherstellen, dass oberhalb der Maschine keine Hindernisse vorhanden sind, die das maximale
A u s f a h r e n d e r Spa l t k e i l h a l t e r u n g b e h i n d e r n ( s i e h e T E C H N I S C H E D AT E N " H " ) .

5.4.1) Modelle mit elektrischer Speisung:

Vor dem Anschließen der Maschine an die elektrische Anlage sicherstellen, dass die Spannung und
die geforderte Leistung korrekt sind; dazu das auf dem Motor angebrachte Typenschild ablesen.
Die Maschine ist mit einem Thermorelais ausgestattet, das die Spannungszufuhr bei Überhitzung
des Motors unterbricht.
Zur Vermeidung schädlicher Überhitzungen müssen die Speisungskabel der elektrischen
Anlage richtig dimensioniert werden (Sekt.min.2.5mm/L max=15m).
Nehmen Sie den elektrischen Anschluss der Maschine an eine Anlage vor, die den im Benutzungsland
geltenden Bestimmungen entspricht. Verwenden Sie keine Verlängerungsschnüre. Verwenden Sie
mobile Reststromschutzvorrichtungen (PRCD), falls die Anlage nicht mit einer Reststromschutzvorrichtung
(RCD) mit einem max. Strom von 0,03 A ausgestattet ist.
Sicherstellen, dass die elektrische Anlage, an die die Maschine angeschlossen wird, mit einem
Differentialschalter ausgestattet ist.
Die Rotationsrichtung des Motor überprüfen.
Während der Überprüfung der Rotationsrichtung den Motor so kurz wie möglich laufen lassen,
um Beschädigungen der Hydraulikpumpe zu vermeiden.
Der Motor weist einen Pfeil auf, der die richtige Rotationsrichtung
anzeigt. Falls die Rotationsrichtung nicht korrekt ist, den Stecker
der Speisung herausziehen und die Phase an der entsprechenden
Schraube des Steckers ändern.
Diese Arbeit nurh von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal vornehmen
lassen.
5.4.2) Modelle für den Anschluss an die Zapfwelle eines
Traktors
Den Dreipunktanschluss der Maschine an den des Krafthebers
anschließen.

Die Blockierung der Arme des Krafthebers des Traktors muss
sämtliche Schwingungen verhindern.
- Zur Gewährleistung der Lenkung müssen auf der Vorderachse des
Traktors zumindest 20% des Gesamtgewichtes des Traktors bleiben.
Zum Beispiel: Bei einem Traktor mit einem Gewicht von 3.000 kg
müssen auf der Vorderachse zumindest 600 kg bleiben.
- Sicherstellen, dass die Belastbarkeit der Hinterreifen des Traktors
ausreichend ist (siehe technische Daten im Handbuch des Traktors).
Vor dem Ausführen des Anschlusses das Bedienungshandbuch
des verwendeten Traktors aufmerksam lesen
- Die Arme des Krafthebers so einstellen, dass die Maschine stabil auf dem
Boden steht und sicherstellen. Dass der Unterbau sicher steht.
- Die Kardanwelle an die Zapfwelle des Traktors und die des
Holzspalters anschließen.

6.4) Models with tractor hydraulic clutches:
- Having connected the machine to the tractor mechanically and having connected the pipes to the
hydraulic clutches (see paragraph 5.4.4), turn on the machine and insert the hydraulic pump as described
by the tractor manufacturer, holding one of the control levers down in order to keep the blade holder
rod still.

too in order to make the blade holder rod come out, and therefore to raise the cylinder to the height
where the fixing holes are level with the holes in the frame.
Carry out this operation pushing the control levers slowly downwards so that the blade holder rod
comes out a little at a time.
Make sure that nothing is in the way to obstruct the upward movement.
- When the holes are aligned, release one control lever to maintain the cylinder in that position.
- Insert the fixing plugs (S) included in the machine kit and fix them into place using the split pins (C).
- Release the second control lever so that the blade holder rod moves to the maximum stroke position.

7) USE OF THE MACHINE

7.1) General precautions:
The machine was designed for use by only one operator.
Do not leave the machine unattended during operations
Always use appropriate clothing in compliance with standard EN 510 (close fitting garments,
with elastic cuffs and protected zips and buttons), without any loose parts that could get caught
in the machine and always wear personal protection devices such as goggles, gloves, helmet,
earmuffs and safety boots as required by the applicable regulations
Place the machine on flat ground, keeping a free space around the machine of at least 3 metres, so
that all manoeuvres can be carried out in total safety. This space around the machine must allow that
all manoeuvres can be done in total safety and that the logs can fall freely. Make sure that there is
sufficient headroom to allow full extension of the blade holder (see TECHNICAL DATA "H").
During the winter start the machine and let it run for 5-10 minutes so that the hydraulic circuit
can heat up sufficiently; this will make the hydraulic components last longer.
Before beginning a working cycle, above all after a period of non-use, always check that the hydraulic
pipes are intact and that the safety devices are working correctly.
When the motor is switched on the blade holder rod moves automatically all the way to the
fully open position (upwards), so make sure there is nothing in its way.
7.2) Working sequence:
PREMISE: The WL 13/16/20 C/1000 log splitters can split logs of up to 1m in length by placing the log
directly on the machine base.
For logs of up to 500mm length, it is possible to mount the optional worktable (see ACCESSORIES
MANUAL).
