Mounting

Pay attention to the sequence of the work steps to prevent dam-
age due to contact with the measuring surface.

Checking function

 Connect the MiniCODER and the power supply unit to the testing and program-
ming unit GEL 211CST4␣2M-.
 Select the MiniCODER "244xM" on the menu in the web interface.
 Turn the target wheel and check the function of the MiniCODER and target
wheel.
 If necessary, start a new programming process, check the air gap and repeat the
mounting work.
 Make sure an error code is not displayed.
 Remove the testing and programming unit.

Mounting MiniCODER
1. Remove the MiniCODER and the matching
distance gauge from the packaging.
2. Place the distance gauge (G) on the target
wheel.
3. Fit the MiniCODER (M) carefully such that
the positioning pins fitted slide into the cen-
tring slot.
4. Wet 2 screws M3 with threadlocker to pre-
vent unintentional loosening.
5. Press the MiniCODER against the distance
gauge and fix it using 2 screws M3 and
spring washers. Tighten the screws to the
permissible torque:
● Steel screw in aluminium: 1 Nm
● Steel screw in steel: 1.5 Nm
6. Remove the distance gauge and keep it in
a safe place for subsequent removal or
adjustment.
