GEL 2449
The MiniCODER (1) is fastened to the mounting via the bores (3) using two screws.
The exact positioning of the MiniCODER is ensured with the aid of the positioning
pins (8) and the centring slot (6) on the rear of the MiniCODER. For straightforward
mounting, a non-ferromagnetic distance
gauge (7) of suitable thickness is included in the scope of supply (thickness is depen-
dent on the module).
The sensitive sensor elements are under the measuring surface (4).
The integrated electronics are supplied with power via the connection cable (2).
The surfaces (5) are used for identification and contain the product identifier, serial
number and identification of the manufacturer.
The MiniCODER has a magnetic field that is changed by the rotating target wheel.
The sensor acquires the change in the magnetic field and the integrated electronics
convert this information into appropriate output signals.
Separate electronics are required to supply the MiniCODER with power, to evaluate
the signals and to set up the control loop.
