Mounting position

If the target wheel is not arranged symmetrically to the measuring surface, measuring
errors may occur. To ensure the correct function of the MiniCODER, it must be exact-
ly adjusted.
 Align the MiniCODER symmetrically in relation to the measuring scale, the lines
of symmetry must match
Possible mounting errors
Effect of the mounting position on the signal quality:
Air gap
Amplitude tracks 1 and 2
Horizontal angular offset
Amplitude ratio track 1/2 in relation to reference
track
Lenord + Bauer markets the special testing and programming unit GEL 211.
Using this unit, the signals from the MiniCODER can be measured and the
configurable MiniCODER (GEL 2444K␣P␣␣␣␣␣␣␣) adjusted, analysed and
configured.
