5.2

Fitting target wheel

The mounting of the target wheel is dependent on the application and is undertaken,
e.g. using heat-shrink technology.
 Mount the target wheel on the shaft; during this process pay attention to the posi-
tion of the signal track and reference track.
 After mounting, check the mounting tolerances are met.

Mounting MiniCODER

Tools and supplies (not included in the scope of supply)
● 2 screws M3 with spring washers for fastening
(recommendation: DIN 912 M3×20 or DIN 7984 M3×20)
● Testing and programming unit GEL 211C (dependent on the MiniCODER used)
● Torque wrench
● Threadlocker (e.g. Loctite 274)

Preparing for mounting

Fit the positioning pins in the bores.
Thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces
on the machine and on the MiniCODER
as well as the mounting screws to obtain
good electrical conductivity.
