Changing the Battery

The unit is powered by a 9 V block battery. When the battery starts to
deteriorate, the battery symbol (
indicates that the battery should be replaced as soon as possible.
Replacing the Battery:
• Turn
off
measuring cables from the terminals and
sockets of the unit.
• Loosen the screws on the back of the unit
marked in the picture with the white rings. Lift
off the rear cover.
• Remove the spend battery from the battery
compartment and detach the battery cable.
• Attach the battery cable to a fresh battery
and insert the new battery.
• Replace the rear cover and tighten the
screws. Please take care not to jam the
cables between cover and housing.
CAUTION! Never Operate the Unit with the Housing Open!
