6.1 Changing the Batteries

The multimeter is powered with two LR03 (AAA)
batteries. If the battery voltage is not sufficient, the
battery symbol
the batteries as soon as possible and replace them
with new one of the same type and dimensions.
Replacing the Battery
First turn the multimeter OFF and disconnect the
measuring probe from the circuitry respectively out
of the multimeter inputs. Unscrew the marked screw
on the rear side of the unit and remove the battery
compartment lid.
Remove the spent battery from the compartment.
Insert both batteries in the battery compartment and
observe right polarity.
Place the lid on the unit and secure with the screw.
PLEASE NOTICE! Do not operate the unit with the
housing open!
Do not mix rechargeable batteries and non-
rechargeable batteries.
Use only batteries of the same type.
If you do not plan to use the unit for some time,
remove the batteries.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries
and do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable
batteries.
