Operating Elements and Connections
ON/OFF Button (3) "POWER"
Press this button to turn the unit on or off.
The unit is equipped with an auto-off function, which turns off 15 minutes after
the last operation with the unit. To turn the unit on again, turn it OFF and ON.
"Hold" Button (2)
With the "HOLD" button you can "freeze" the last measured value on the
display. After you have turned off this function, the current value is displayed.
The Terminals and Sockets on the Unit
10-A-Input (6)
This socket is intended for connecting the red measuring cable for taking
AC/DC current measurements in the range up to 10 Ampere. Set the rotary
switch (4) to "10 A" (AC/DC)
A-Input 2 A (7)
This socket is intended for connecting the red measuring cable for taking
AC/DC current measurements in the 2 A range. Set the rotary switch (4) to a
position between 20 µA and 2 A (AC / DC).
COM-Input (8)
This socket is intended for connecting the black measuring cable for all
measurements.
V/Ω/
- Input (9)
This socket is intended for connecting the red measuring cable for voltage and
resistance measurements as well as for the diode function and continuity tests.
The rotary switch (4) must be turned to the corresponding position for each
function.
