Safety notes
Use Clone Plug only with C4000
safety light curtains or M4000
multiple light beam safety devices
approved for this purpose.
After using Clone Plug you must
perform all checks before initial
commissioning in conjunction with
C4000 or M4000. Read the chapter
on "Commissioning" in the relevant
operating instructions.
This device manual must be given to
the user of the Clone Plug together
with the relevant operating
instructions for the C4000 or M4000
used.

Product description

You can save the configuration of a C4000
safety light curtain or M4000 multiple light
beam safety device with a Clone Plug. You can
successively save the configuration of the

sender and receiver in a Clone Plug. You can
use the saved configuration either as a backup
or for cloning.
If a C4000 or M4000 must be replaced due
to a fault, you can upload the backup to the
device from the Clone Plug and re-
commission it.
For cloning, you can load the saved
configuration to identical devices and then
commission these.
In both cases, no PC with CDS is required
(Configuration & Diagnostic Software).
