B. If the voltage is between 2.5~2.9V/Cell (LiPo) the battery pack will be charged at 0.5A initial charge current
C. If the voltage is between 0.8V~2.5V/cell (LiPo) or below 2.0 V/cell (LiFe) the battery pack will be charged at 0.2A
initial charge current.
D. If a cell voltage is between 0.8V ~ 2.5V(LiPo) or 0.8V-2.0V(LiFe) , the charger will ask you if you want to recover the
battery. Press [INC] to confirm and start the recovery. Press [DEC] to stop .
NOTE: the initial charge current will be set until the battery pack reaches a safe voltage. The fast or normal charge
mode will be set automatically as soon as a safe voltage is reached. This can take several hours. If a timeout occurs
set go back to the options menu and set the timeout to a higher value.
2. Press ' Sel Mode' key shortly, to display the input voltage and charge mode.
3. Press and hold the [SEL MODE] button for 2 seconds to display the individual cell voltages.
4. When charging is completed, the charger will beep 5 times (when sound has been set).
How to check the balancer data while in idle mode (when not charging)
In LiPo/A123 mode, Press the[SEL]key several times until the LCD screen displays as shown below. If the balancer is
connected, the LCD will display each cell imbalance voltage.
Connect your battery 'balance connector to the charger' balancer connector or use an optional adaptor to connect .
Press the [ENT] key to display the input and output voltages.
Shortly press the [Ent]-button. The number of cells and discharge current will Flash.
Press[INC]or[DEC]to change these values while flashing.
Press the [ENT]key for 2 seconds to start discharge.
Note1: The discharge cut-off voltage can be adjusted in the system option settings
Note2: We recommend Lipo and LiFe discharge mode only for checking the capacity of these packs.
Note3: Discharge will be refused if the pack voltage is lower than 50% of rated capacity(approx.3.2v/cell=standard
setup).
In the options menu, select the battery type, NiCd or NiMH. and press the [SEL] button for 2 seconds to go to the
charge/discharge menu.
Memory or previously used charge mode:
Press[INC]or[DEC]to select memory number while the [Sel]-indicator flashes on the display.
Shortly press the [ENT]key, then the C-value (current) will flash .Select a desired charge current by pressing[INC]or
[DEC]from 0.25 to 10A(We recommend setting to a 1C* charge current for best results).
Then press the [ENT]key for 2 seconds to begin charging. To check the option settings and input voltage while
charging, shortly press the [Sel] key.
1C corresponds one time the rated battery capacity. e.g. a 7.2V – 3600mAh has a 1C value of 3.6A
Shortly press the [ENT]button. The charge, discharge current and number of cycles will flash. Press[INC]or[DEC]to
change the values while they flash on the display.
Press the [ENT] button for 2 seconds to begin a cycle(charge/discharge)
During Cycle mode, Press the [INC]or[DEC]button. You can adjust the cycle No. .
