Instructions for use
Switching the circular saw on/off
1. Plug the mains lead into a wall socket.
2. Hold the rear handle of the saw in your right hand and the front handle in your
left hand.
3. Press in the trigger lock button
(17) with your right thumb.
4. Squeeze the trigger (16) with
your right forefinger.
5. Release the power trigger to
switch the saw off.
Warning: The blade will
continue to rotate for a few
seconds after the saw has
been switched off. Wait until
the blade has come to
a complete stop before putting
the saw down.
Sawing
Important: Always hold the saw firmly with both hands on the handles when sawing.
1. Set the saw up for sawing as
directed in the Settings section.
Note: Always make a trial
cut on a spare piece of wood
to check the depth, angle
and width of the cut before
beginning to saw the actual
workpiece.
2. Use the parallel guide to help
you saw in a straight line.
3. Alternatively, draw a sawing
line on the workpiece and
follow the sawing line using
the sight (7) on the front edge of
the base plate.
