3. Rotate the retracting blade
guard (8) clockwise and hold it
in place.
4. Remove the blade.
5. Place a new blade onto the inner flange (a).
Important: Ensure that the direction of rotation arrow
on the blade points in the same direction as the arrow
on the fixed blade guard.
6. Place the outer flange washer in the centre of the blade.
7. Hold in the spindle lock and screw the socket head bolt
back on using the Allen key.
Attaching the vacuum cleaner adapter
1. Hold the dust extraction
vacuum cleaner adapter
against the fixed blade guard.
2. Line the two holes in
the adapter up with
the threaded holes in
the blade guard.
3. Fasten the adapter to the blade
guard using the 2 screws.
4. Connect a suitable vacuum
cleaner to the adapter.
Important: Clean the vacuum cleaner adapter regularly to ensure optimum dust
extraction.
