5.2.2. Fitting the MPM

- Attach the MPM to a stable wall or machine part using the 6-mm diameter fixing holes in the
base plate.

5.3. Connecting the ionisation equipment

Warning:
- Disconnect the power supply before carrying out work on the unit.
Ionisation equipment high voltage cables may be shortened.
However, the metal shielding must not be shortened by the customer.
When shortening the (blue) high voltage cable used in anti-static bars type MEB, MEJ, EP-Sh-
N, P-Sh-N(2) and MaxION, the cable end must be stripped as shown in figure 4A. High-voltage
cable with braided shielding must be finished as shown in figure 4B.
