Caution: The cutting wire heats up within just a few seconds. Touching the wire when switched on will inevitably cause
burns. Wearing protective gloves is recommended.

ProCut top cutting variants:

Straight cut (horizontal and vertical)
Lay the insulating panel on the right bearing rail (Pos. 8, Fig. 1). If you are processing very thick
panels, fold out the panel support (Pos. 6, Fig. 1). Pull out the cutting bow (Pos. 13, Fig. 1),
slide the insulating panel to the left until you have the required dimension (read this off on the
measuring scale of the bearing rails, Pos. 8 + 15, Fig. 1) and guide the cutting wire through the
insulating panel. For repeat cuts fix the slider for repeat cuts (Pos. 16, Fig. 1) on the left bearing
rail (Pos. 15, Fig. 1): The board can be laid vertically or horizontally on the bearing rail (Pos. 8,
Fig. 1).

Mitre cut
Use the sliding bevel to measure the mitre angle (Fig. A) and transfer this to the horizontal
insulating panel: mark between x and y (Fig. B).

Then fold out the mitre tool (Pos. 4, Fig. 1). Release the locking levers (Pos. 36, Fig. 10) - top
and bottom - from the cutting bow (Pos. 13, Fig. 1). Stand the marked panel on the right bearing
rail (Pos. 8, Fig. 1), swivel the cutting bow to the right until the angles of the cutting bow (13)
and the mitre tool (4) line up with the mark on the insulating panel.
Lock the locking levers (Pos. 36, Fig. 10) at the top and bottom, slide the locking element for
mitre cuts (Pos. 11, Fig. 10) up to the stop on the cutting bow and fasten in place. The mitre
setting remains in effect for repeat cuts; cuts can be reproduced without requiring any further
adjustment.

Transfer the top and bottom dimensions of the roof pitch to the insulating panel:
