ELECTR. HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT – PROTECTION AGAINST UNCONTROLLED MOVEMENT &
TECHNICAL DATA
PROTECTION AGAINST UNCONTROLLED MOVEMENT
Standard protection against uncontrolled movementEvery table
is fitted with standard protection against uncontrolled move-
ment, which significantly reduces any potential risk of getting
caught or crushed. If the sensor detects a spontaneous incre-
ase in force, as would happen in a collision, the movement is
stopped via a signal sent to the controller, which then allows
movement of approximately 40 mm in the opposite direction.
NOTES:The sensor's sensitivity and the obtainable shut-off
threshold depend on the entire system; due to construction
characteristics, these features are not identical at all points.
Warning:However, despite the protection against
uncontrolled movement there may still be a risk of get-
ting caught or crushed in exceptional cases, since the
interaction of mechanics and electronics is responsible
for the motor shutdown and not just the motor con-
troller. The mechanics, motor and environmental con-
ditions also affect the shutdown sensitivity. Therefore,
this residual risk cannot be completely ruled out and
no liability is accepted for it.
Safety instructions:Uncontrolled movement protection,
does not protect people from harm and therefore can-
not be labelled or identified as a protective device!
