6.1 How it works

The linear unit is used for linear processing and positioning. A toothed belt drive moves the slot
into its position. This motion can be effected manually with a handwheel or by an electric drive.
Depending on the version, the slides are guided without any play on rail sections or steel guide
shafts with rollers.

This linear unit is available in the designs and guidance versions given here.
