Depending on the degree of utilization, UV-rays exposure and climatic
influence it is possible that the brushes could be brittle (after 1 or 2
years)
In order to have an optimal clean effectiveness, the damaged brushes
should be renovated prematurely – contact the service department of
the company Mayer to this matter.
You do not need to replace the whole brush as the brush consists of
individual slices. Unscrew the securing slice at the end of the shaft.
Take off the inner brushes and fit new brush discs on the outside. This
will restore the original brush shape. Place a rubber washer between
each brush disc.
In case several bristles release from a brush-disc they should be imme-
diately replaced in order to avoid that further bristles fail. Both camping
sleeves (Pos. 33 and 35) should be replaced all 5.000 operating hours
or rather changed every year.
