9.9. Adjusting the quantity of coffee grind (only mod.
3135/3145).

Rotate the knob anti-clockwise to adjust the coffee
grinding time to its minimum.

Place the filter holder on the fork.

Press the manual
grinding and ensure that the quantity is sufficient
to deliver a coffee. Press the
grind a double dose.

To adjust the grinding time, rotate the knob
clockwise to increase the quantity of coffee grind.
9.10. Adjusting the grade of coffee grind (only mod.
3135/3145)

With the coffee grinding time adjustment knob
set to the minimum,

place the filter holder on the fork.

Press the manual grind coffee
grinding.

Ensure the grade of the coffee grind is suitable for
coffee delivery.

Rotate the hopper clockwise for a finer grind.

Rotate the hopper anti-clockwise for a coarser
grind.
Adjusting the grade and the amount of
ground coffee is fundamental to ensuring
good coffee delivery. If the grind is too fine
or the amount is excessive, the coffee will
filter through too slowly, while an overly coarse grind or
the amount is too little, the coffee will flow too quickly.

9.11. E xpansion valve adjustment (pump pressure)

Beneath the front panel, near the water/steam nozzle,
there is an adjustable valve which allows the pressure
of the coffee delivery pump to be adjusted. To adjust
the pressure, do the following:

Fill the filter holder with the correct grade and
quantity of ground coffee.

Reattach the filter holder and start coffee delivery.

Wait for the pressure gauge to display a stable
pressure value and turn the adjustable knob on the
valve.

Turn in a clockwise direction to lower the pressure
in the circuit and clockwise to increase the pressure
in the circuit.
It is recommended to adjust the pressure in the circuit
to between 9 and 10 Bar.

10. PROGRAMMING

10.1. Identifying the keys


T1 - : Deliver single coffee dose key.

T2 - : Deliver double coffee dose key.

T3 - : Steam delivery key.

T4 - : Hot water delivery key.

T5 - : Grind coffee key (only mod.
3135/3145).
Supplying power to the machine through the main
switch, the device activates the LEDs on the keys in
alternation for 4 seconds while waiting for a
programming key to be pressed. To enter programming
mode, press and hold a key one of the following keys:
T1 , T2 , T3
seconds of the setting you wish to modify.

10.2. Pre-infusion


Press and hold the
enable/disable the pre-infusion function.

Enabled if LED light is ON. Press the
disable function.

Disabled if LED light is OFF. Press the
enable function.

All LEDs flash three times to indicate the settings
have been saved successfully.
The pre-infusion function improves coffee extraction.
Activate water delivery for 2 seconds to soak the coffee
in the filter holder and begin delivery after a brief
pause.

10.3. Programming standby


Press and hold the
enable/disable the standby function.

Enabled if LED light is ON. Press the
disable function.

Disabled if LED light is OFF. Press the
enable function.

All LEDs flash three times to indicate the settings
have been saved successfully.
