3.3 POWER SUPPLY CORD AND CONNECTION TO THE MAINS
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage on the adhesive plate on the machi-
ne; connect it to an adequate socket only. If the power supply cord is defective the user
must not replace it, but contact a QUICK MILL Authorised Service Centre only. Do not pull
on the power supply cord or the device to unplug it; do not touch it with wet hands. To
prevent dangerous overheating, unwind the entire length of the power supply cord.

5 INSTALLATION

5.1 PACKAGING

After removing the original packaging, it advisable to save it in case the machi-
ne needs to be moved. The original packaging serves only to protect the machi-
ne during transport.

5.2 CONNECTION TO THE MAINS

Before connecting the machine cord to a socket make sure the main switch is on
ÏOÓ. Scrupulously follow the instructions in Chap. 3 for your safety and the
safety of others.

5.3 FILLING THE WATER TANK

Remove the water tank 10 and carefully clean it, fill it with fresh water up to two centi-
metres from the top, put it back in its seat so that the suction and return tube are inside
the tank. Use non-sparkling drinking water, other liquids can damage the tank. Do not
start the machine without having filled the water tank 10 .

5.4 STARTING THE MACHINE

Before starting the machine for the first time or after a long period of no use, follow the
instructions below:

1. Press the start button 1 equipped with light
2. Press the start button 2 to turn on the water steam services
3. The illuminated buttons 4-5 indicate that the machine is in the warm-up phase, wait
until the lights go out.
4. Press the coffee switch 6, let the water circulate for around a minute and turn off the
switch.
5. Pull out the wand 11, put a container under the wand, turn on hot water switch 8 to
run a complete cleaning cycle.

6 BREWING TRADITIONAL COFFEE AND PODS

Do not remove filter 15 while brewing coffee, there is a serious danger of getting burned.
