5. INSTALLATION
5.1. PACKING
We recommend saving the original packing in case of future transport. The original packing is used solely to
protect the machine during transport.
5.2 CONNECTION TO THE MAINS POWER NETWORK
Before plugging the machine's electric cable into the power outlet, make sure that the main switch is set to "0".
Scrupulously follow the instructions in Section 3 to guarantee your safety and that of others.

5.3 FILLING THE WATER TANK

Remove the water tank (10) and clean it carefully, fill it with fresh water up to two centimetres from the rim, insert
it in its seat so that the suction and water return tubes are inside the tank.
Use non-sparkling drinking water – other liquids may damage the tank. Do not start the machine without having
filled the water tank (10).
5.4 STARTING
Follow the instructions given below before starting the machine for the first time or after a long period of
inactivity:
• Set switch 1 to position 1; indicator light 5 lights up (PID 4 remains off)
• The boiler loads cold water without the heating element kicking in
• Set switch 1 to position "2" – the PID turns on and the machine starts the heating process for beverage
dispensing
• If the water tank should empty while the machine is being used, carry out the boiler loading procedure again as
if it were the first use
6. TRADITIONAL COFFEE DISPENSING
DO NOT remove the filter holder (13) while coffee is being dispensed. Danger of severe burns.
1. Set switch 1 to position "2" – indicator light 6 lights up (let the unit heat for around 4 minutes)
2. The PID turns on when the set temperature is displayed (see instructions page.14) - coffee can now be
dispensed
3. Insert the single cup (17) or the two cup (16) filter in the filter holder (13).
