Installation
1. Insert three new batteries of the type Mignon (AA, LR06), observ-
ing the correct polarity, in the battery brackets (see sketch).
To avoid condensation in the smoke chamber, the smoke detector
should have ambient temperature before inserting batteries and
doing a function check. Condensation in the smoke chamber can
cause malfunctions.
2. Once the batteries are inserted, the red control lamp flashes
approximately every 48 seconds, thus signalling that the smoke
detector is ready to be put into use.
3. Engage the smoke detector by turning it clockwise in the socket.
The red triangles placed in the socket and in the smoke detector
help to find the correct positioning.
Please note!
For safety purposes, the smoke detector cannot be
locked if the batteries are not inserted.
