Cross-cutting
Cross-cutting with the saw blade angled 0°
When sawing narrow pieces of wood,
the slide function is not required and the saw
head can be locked in the rear position by
tightening the slide rail locking knob (29). For
sawing wide workpieces, first make sure that
the slide rail lock is released so that the saw
head can move before you begin sawing.
1. Raise the saw head (7) to its upper
position by first pressing the saw head
down and then releasing the saw head
lock (23). Note: Keep hold of the saw
head when releasing the lock, otherwise it
will spring up automatically.
2. Move the saw head backwards and
fix it in this position with a slide lock if
necessary (depending on the width of
the workpiece).
3. Place the workpiece on the turntable
(14) and hold it against the fence (12).
4. Secure the workpiece using the clamp
(24) to prevent it from moving during
the cutting process.
5. Switch the laser line on if necessary,
using the switch (27).
6. Press in the power trigger (28) to start
the motor, press in the blade guard
release lever (22) and carefully lower
the saw head and let the blade cut
through the workpiece.
7. To switch the saw off, release the power trigger whilst still maintaining full control
over the saw head. When the blade has stopped, the saw head can be moved
back to its upper position.
Warning: The resetting springs in the machine automatically raise the saw head after
cutting. Do not simply let go of the saw head after cutting, hold onto the handle and
let it come up slowly.
