6. Starting the System
• Again connect the wireless camera and the receiver to the respective power units
enclosed.
• Plug the adapters of the surveillance set into the mains sockets.
• Switch the surveillance monitor on.
• Select at the surveillance monitor the input where the receiver of the surveillance
set has been connected.
• Switch on the receiver operating the switch (15); a light-emitting diode starts flash-
ing at the front side of the device.
• Set the channel select switch at the wireless camera (6) and at the receiver (14) to
the same transmission channel or check the setting resp.
• The antennas of the surveillance set (1) and (11) are mounted on a joint.
Turn the antennas of the receiver and the wireless camera in a way that the marked
sides look at each other. The antennas shall show away from the device housing
(reduced disturbances).
• Change the position of the antennas of the receiver and the wireless camera until
you have reached ideal video reception. Change the channel that has been select-
ed at the wireless camera and the receiver (channel select switch (6) and (14)) if the
transmission is disturbed. See also "Correcting malfunctions".
• Optimize the adjustment of the wireless camera, fix the locking screws at the cam-
era support (4) with the help of a Phillips screwdriver. Proceed in reverse order
when switching off the devices.
If you intend not to use the system for a longer period always unplug the adapters.
7. Maintenance and Care
The devices are maintenance-free. Therefore never open them. If you open them
guarantee becomes invalid.
The exterior of the devices should only be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or brush.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or solvents since this might damage the hous-
ing surface.
8. Correcting malfunctions
No picture nor sound
• Wireless camera or receiver are not supplied with power. The light-emitting diode
does not flash. Perhaps the adapter has not been plugged in correctly.

Ne placez jamais les appareils sur un support instable. Des personnes
pourraient être blessées par la chute d'un appareil.
Tenez compte des consignes de sécurité et des modes d'emploi des
autres appareils connectés.
Ne laissez pas traîner le matériel d'emballage, les feuilles ou poches
plastiques, les morceaux de polystyrène expansé etc. Ils pourraient
devenir des jouets dangereux pour les enfants.
Ce kit de télésurveillance produit, consomme et rayonne une énergie
haute fréquence. Si son installation et sa mise en service ne corres-
pondent pas aux instructions, ceci pourrait perturber le fonctionne-
ment d'autres appareils. Dans le cas où le kit de télésurveillance per-
turberait d'autres appareils, l'utilisateur est tenu de parer à cela à
l'aide d'une ou de plusieurs des mesures suivantes :
•
Changer l'emplacement de la caméra.
•
Connectez les blocs d'alimentation secteur du kit de télésur-
veillance à une prise de courant appartenant à un autre circuit de
courant que celui auquel la prise de courant de l'appareil perturbé
est branchée.
•
Augmenter la distance entre l'appareil perturbé et la caméra ou le
récepteur du kit de télésurveillance.
•
Sélectionnez un autre canal de transmission.
Consultez notre service de renseignements technique ou un autre per-
sonnel qualifié.
En cas de graves perturbations (radio, etc.) l'appareil peut avoir des
réactions importunes. Essayez d'éliminer la source de perturbation ou
de changer l'emplacement du kit de télésurveillance.
Le kit de télésurveillance ne peut pas remplacer la surveillance d'un
enfant ou de quelqu'un nécessitant des soins, etc. par une personne
mais peut seulement l'assister.
Dans le cas où tout ce qui concerne le raccordement correct ne
serait pas clair ou si vous avez des questions auxquelles le mode
d'emploi n'a pu répondre, prenez contact avec notre service tech-
nique ou demandez l'avis d'un autre spécialiste.
