shows shortwave frequencies in megahertz.
EXAMPLE: To access the 25 meter band
1. Press the button labeled "band"until SW2 appears in the display's bottom
area. It may take several presses.
2. Press the button labeled "METER"until the frequency 11.65 MHz appears in
the display. This is the beginning of the 25 meter band, as shown on the chart
on the back of the radio.

HOW TO TUNE AROUND IN A SHORTWAVE BAND
Before tuning around in a shortwave band it is best to familiarize yourself
with the frequency range of the selected band. Use the chart on the back of
the radio or the BAND CHART in this manual. Most shortwave stations are
found within the defined limits of the major bands. Manual tuning usually
gives the best results.

COMMENT S'ACCORDER SUR UNE STATION ONDES COURTES
Avant de s'accorder sur une bande d'ondes courtes, il est recommandé de se familiariser
avec la gamme de fréquences de la bande choisie. Utiliser le tableau des fréquences au
dos du poste de radio ou le TABLEAU DES BANDES D'ONDES COURTES du manuel.
La plupart des stations ondes courtes se trouvent dans les limites définies des bandes
principales. L'accord manuel fournit généralement les meilleurs résultats.
