3. Setting the date
The 1. January 2008 is displayed as the standard setting of the date.
• Press the '+' and '-' Buttons to set the desired year.
By continuously pressing the '+' or '-' Buttons, the readjusting of the time and
values is accelerated (Scrolling).
• To confi rm press the 'SET/WAVE' Button.
• Press the '+' and '-' Button to set the desired day (D) and month (M).
• Press again the 'SET/WAVE' Button to confi rm the setting and continue with the setting of
the time.
4. Setting the time
The preset standard time is 12:00.
• Press the '+' and '-' Buttons to set the desired minute and hour.
• Press again the 'SET/WAVE' Button to confi rm the setting and continue with the setting of
the time format.
5. Setting hour format
The preset hour format is '12 HR'.
• Press the '+' and '-' Button to change between 12 and 24 hours format.
• To confi rm and to end the product settings, press the 'SET/WAVE' Button.
e) Setting the Alarm Time
The standard alarm time is 7:00.
• Press the '+' and '-' Buttons to set the desired alarm time during the normal operation.
• 'ALM' appears on the display.
f) Activating alarm
• Slide the 'ALARM' switch towards 'BEEP' (Alarm with tone) or towards 'SOUND' (Alarm with
sound of nature).
• The symbol
The sunrise function starts before the alarm time according to the set duration.
At this, the LED-Lamp begins with the lowest of four levels to simulate the sun-
rise and increases step by step up to the maximum level of brightness.
