2. Proper use

This product unifi es the functions of soft-lamp with sounds of nature with those of a radio-control-
led clock having date display and alarm function. The alarm function can be selected as Alarm
(Beeper) or sound of nature and is combined with the sunrise effect of the lamp. Sound of nature
is combined with changing colour of the dim light in case of the snooze function.
The product may not be altered or converted. Any use other than the one described above
damages this product. Moreover, this involves dangers, such as e.g. short-circuit, fi re, electric
shock, etc.
The product is intended for dry indoor use only. The power is supplied via 4 × 1.5 V batteries (not
included in the delivery) or with the supplied mains supply unit. Any other source of energy is not
permitted; any other mains supply unit must not be used. The correct battery type is specifi ed
under 'Technical Data'.
All safety instructions and notes on operation in these operating instructions must be observed
at all times. These instructions not only protect the device but also and in particular your health.
Please read through the operating instructions carefully before using the product. Keep them in
