In order to enable the pacer memory mode to work in connection with
the chronograph go into the MR1 memory location and press "Split/Reset"
(D)� "SC" will appear in the display� The pacer memory will now function
in conjunction each time the chronograph mode is running� Press "Split/
Reset" (D) again to disable� "SC" will disappear from the display�
6.9.2 Operation in pacer memory mode
The function is used in professional training for runners�
Each of the 9 memory locations can be activated or deactivated by setting
it to "ON" or "OFF" (See 5�9�1 point 11�)�
If the memory mode activated, it automatically starts when times are
taken in the chronograph mode� The pacer beep sound programmes are
executed� The setting in each memory location which is switched on (set
to "ON") are sequentially executed and counted down beginning from 1
ending at 9� As soon as all cumulative times of enabled memory locations
have been counted down, the pacer memory function stops�
To restart the training programme settings, delete all chronograph records
first (Press and hold down the "Split/Reset" (D) button for 2 seconds), and
start over normally in the chronograph mode�
6.10 Speed
In this mode the stop watch calculates the speed based on the times taken
by the user in the chronograph mode� Speed can be displayed in the units
mp/h and km/h�
6.10.1 Setting the distance (in "Speed mode")
1� Press the "Select" (A) button and hold it for 2 seconds to set the
distance value. The first figure on the right blinks.
2� Press the "Start/Stop" (C) or "Split/Reset" (D) to set the figure for each
place�
3� Press the "Mode" (B) button to confirm and set the next figure. The next
place blinks. Repeat this procedure until all figures are set. Repeat it
again to set the unit (m or km)�
4� Press the "Select" (A) button to display the calculated speed for the
first record.
5� Press the "Start/Stop" (C) or "Split/Reset" (D) button to scroll through
the display of speed values for all time records taken�
