2. Safety remarks
§
The ReFLEX 200 multi device may only be operated with 230V alternating
voltage supplies with socket outlets with earthing contact.
§
The device must be protected from humidity and must not be exposed to
direct sunlight. Dew (condensation and perspiration water) must be avoided.
After storage in cooler rooms, the device must be left turned off for at least 1
hour before operation in order to achieve a temperature equalization.
§
The device must be well ventilated at all times, i.e. the ventilation openings in
the base, the cover and the back panel must always be free. For example, the
device may not be operated on a carpeted floor.
§
The charger may not be operated or used by minors.
§
Batteries must not be charged with this charging device.
§
The charger may only be used in accordance with the technical specifications
(see chapter 7, Technical specifications).
§
Please note the information given by the accumulator manufacturer. This
applies particularly to the charging current or C rate and the maximum
temperature.
§
The accumulator pack must be connected to the charger via cables that are
as short as possible. The cable cross section must be large and adapted to
the charging current. It is important that the accumulator packs have a good
contact. Simple battery mounts with springs and rivets are not suitable due to
the high transfer resistances that occur with high charging currents.
§
The accumulator must not contain a protective diode! This would disable the
reflex impulse (discharge impulse), and the accumulator could become very
hot during charging (danger of accumulator damage).
§
Within one accumulator pack, only accumulator cells of the same capacity
and same brand may be charged in series connection. Never combine old
and new cells or cells of different manufacturers.
§
Never connect two accumulator packs in parallel at the same time.
Accumulator short circuits must be prevented!
Explosion and fire hazard!
Danger!
