g) Lowering the vehicle
• The small V-shaped holder (A) fixes the lower axle mount in place
(see right-hand diagram).
When you loosen the screw, turn the holder to the right by 180° and
screw it back in place (or completely remove the holder and screw),
the lower axle mount can move freely and be sprung up and down.
• The rear of the vehicle features a small sliding switch (B) that can
block or release the suspension on the rear axle.
Before moving the sliding switch, push the rear axle towards the
top of the vehicle (push upwards). The sliding switch can then be
moved without needing to apply any force.
Do not use any force when adjusting the position of the sliding
switch!

h) Setting up the remote control and vehicle

If you have not already done so, insert the batteries into the remote control (see section 8. b). Connect the
vehicle battery to the vehicle (see section 8. c) and charge it (see section 8. d).
• On the remote control, release the lever (6) for the engine so
that it is in the central position (neutral position). In addition,
release the steering wheel (5) for the steering function.
• Switch off the remote control and the vehicle (move the
switch to "OFF"). The on/off switch is located on the left side
behind the front left-hand wheel (see arrow in the right-hand
diagram (A)).
• Switch on the vehicle (move the switch to "ON").
The red LED in the driver's cabin will start to flash rapidly.
• Switch on the remote control (move the switch to "ON"). The
LED indicator (4) will turn on briefly and the red LED in the
vehicle will stay constant.
The vehicle is now ready for use and can be controlled with
the remote control (see next section).
Alternatively, you can also switch on the remote
control before switching on the vehicle.
When the remote control is switched on, the LED indicator (4) on the remote control will start to flash rap-
idly. The vehicle must be switched on while the LED indicator is still flashing, otherwise it will not respond
to the remote control. If necessary, repeat the above steps.
