By purchasing the Digital Multimeter VC 260 you have acquired an

environmental-friendly 3 / digit state-of-the-art measuring instru-

ment. This device is environmental-friendly, because it uses a capa-
citor with a capacity of 20F instead of batteries or accumulators for
power supply. The capacitor is buffered via the solar cell and rechar-
ged by 9 to 12V DC or AC or by 230V AC. Then, the measuring
cables are used as the charging cables. The change from one mea-
suring range to the next higher or lower one is performed automati-
cally (auto range).
The measuring instrument and lines are tested for their safety
according to EN61010-1:2001 (=DIN VDE 411/part 1) or EN61010-
2-31. Moreover, they are EMC tested and meet the requirements
of applicable European and national regulations. The conformity
has been proved.
The corresponding declarations and documents have been
deposited with the manufacturer.
